Rumors...

A few new rumors...

1. Rumor has it that the new super will be in charge immediately after confirmation...who will that most effect?

2. Rumor has it that the director of technology erased a lot of files relative to the high school from a middle school teacher's computer.... what was that about?

3. Rumor has it that there is a million dollar grant for agriculture programs at seven oak, but there is some friction with the high school agriculture teacher... what is going on?

Oh boy has my phone been ringing.

I am Brian Bray, the technology director for the district. I am going to do the unthinkable and personally, publicly, respond to the anonymous postings found on an anonymous blog.

I have never deleted any user's content from any of our computers without the express consent of the person who stored the data there.

I welcome an immediate forensic investigation by the ESD. All they need to get started is the name of the teacher who allegedly had data deleted. Post it here and the investigation can begin Wednesday morning before I first log on to the network. Alternatively, email the allegation to Steve Kelley or ESD superintendent Susan Waddell. Yet one more option- take it to the state ethics commission.

Do the right thing. Get to the bottom of this and put the truth and the proof out right here.

So, LP, why are you publishing rumors? Doesn't that go against the title of this blog (although yes, you are noting it's a rumor vs claiming it to be true)? I thought you were doing due diligence and presenting facts - although I know for sure that you haven't presented facts from both sides on a few issues you've brought up in the past. At least do a little homework first before sending even more people under your bus.

This is the second time that the following has been submitted for posting:

LP,
You either need to offer some proof Brian Bray erased files or do a retraction. You are deep in liable territory now.

The person you libeled now has an attorney. For your sake you better live up to your blogs billing and have some actual Proof and not just a Rumor or it's going to get very expensive for you.

Brian Bray here again- just to put this to rest. Thank you Proof, for the retraction of sorts. I am not sure what the above comment "person you libeled now has an attorney." If that person is me, then the information is not correct. I did not get an attorney over this matter.

Let's just quit all this, communicate openly, and take care of the kids.

Than you, Proof, for stepping up to stepping down from this blog.
