Jim Robinson was non-renewed from both of his prior districts and was declared retaliatory by board members in those districts.
Lebanon High School alone is down 450 students in enrollment and the freshman class which used to come in each fall with 375-400 students started this year with less than 300.
The following are some of the classes that used to exist at Lebanon High School that were destroyed by the administrators of the academies because they didn't believe in "advanced" classes. (Mr. Finch is one of those administrators): Advanced LA 9, Adv. LA 10, Adv. LA 11, Adv. LA 12, Adv. Global Studies, Adv. US History, Adv. Government, Adv. Economics, Adv. Personal Finance.
There are students in the elementary schools that are as much as 4 years older or younger than the kids in their class since we do not have "grades". (Note* this is illegal if the students are Special Ed students)
Special Education student IEPs are changed without the authorization of the parents.
Personal friends of Jim Robinson get really cool high paying jobs in Lebanon. Steve Kelley (promoted from Dir. of Curriculum to Assistant Superintendent), Jan Zarate (promoted from teacher to Director of curriculum), Linda Darling (hired as Dir. of finance with no prior experience), Kim Masog (LHS Academy Administrator with no high school experience) et. al.
There are more administrators in Lebanon than we need.

I'm a believer in what you are saying. But, I want to state that Kim Masog was an exceptional teacher at Hamilton Creek and she is very qualified to be a principle. She is a great fit for that position.
Good work on this blog, however be carefull with 'the facts'- LHS is not down 450 students.
Current enrollment as of 9/12 is:
9th grade: 373 (includes 2nd & 3rd year, credit deficient students)
10th : 310
11th : 268
12th : 250
Beyond LHS : 111
For a total of 1316-111=1205 which is down about 149 from October of 07
From Yearbook title pages (usually reflect October enrollment) at Public Library:
98-99: 1369
99-00: 1350
00-01: 1392
02-03: 1271
03-04: 1321
04-05: 1323
05-06: 1354
06-07: 1326
07-08: 1281
So, we are trending downward but not 450.
Ok, now show me how many diplomas were awarded the last several years as compared to the class size. I see a year or two ago, we had about 300 seniors with about 170 diplomas awarded. But we only have a drop out rate of 4+%. I don't get it.
